Bummed today

Ok so I am bummed today. Our BM has not called after her appointment. I text her today and didn't get a response. I am bummbed about that. Our attorney spoke with BF this week and all is still on according to attorney so that is great...just would like to know how the MD appointment went....I know God is in control of all of this and His will for Beckham will be done....
Then today my car battery went dead and we had to shell out 96.00 dollars for a new battery...not cool;(
It seems to happen like that though...anyway keep lifting us up in prayer we need them...one week from official due date...NOVEMBER 6th...

on a side note...we got our garage back and for those of you who came and saw the yard sale you know what I mean. We donated all of the leftovers to a new thrift store that is christian based that will open on monday right down the road from us. She actually came to our yard sale and was a blessing and today a GOD SEND for sure...That is one less thing to worry about when Beckham arrives. The garage is back and cleaned now....YEah!!!!!!!!!!! and praise GOD for that!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Brandi for sharing this;)

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'
The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'
Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'
'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'
'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

Still waiting on Beckham

Hey guys,
Just wanted to write and thank everyone for their prayers. Please keep them up as the time nears. Baby Beckham is really liking the warm climate he is in right now..eh!?!
We are ready on our end. I finished room this past sunday. I just have to do curtains eventually but in due time. My mom surprised me with a basketball rug and it is perfect in his room.
As time gets closer we want to ask you to pray specifically for some things. As you remember our Birthmother specifically didn't want a c-section due to scaring being a constant reminder, pray for health of baby, pray for our birthparents and comfort for them, pray for their family, pray for our family, pray for our finances especially with me not getting paid while I am out, pray over the hospital that they treat us good that God changes their mind about adoption, pray that the social workers don't force BM into anything that she doesn't want to do(that is why we paid for counseling for her), pray for Rylie and her accepting her baby brother (she is so excited, now), pray over us to be good parents and be able to give Beckham what he needs from us, pray over us for peace those 10 days we have to wait, pray over the preceeding after we get baby. I know I just totally bombarded you with specifics but we are getting close and still need God to more a few more mountains for us as he has already did:)
we love you guys very much and appreciate all the support we have gotten. God has been so good to us.
I will post if we get any news. BM goes to doctor tomorrow and starts cervical checks:)

Spoke with Birthmother!!

Just wanted to update everyone that I spoke to birthmother yesterday. All is good with her pregnancy and baby. Beckham is weighing in at 6.5 lbs at this time and his heartbeat is perfect per Birthmother. Her next appointment is next wednesday and that is when they will start checking her cervix for dialation at every visit. They told her to be ready she could go at anytime but to rest assured that they would not allow her to go over one week after due date or they will induce her.
She said that she feels good except that the baby feels that it head butts her bladder every few minutes and she has started feeling constant pressure in her pelvic region. Which we were excited to hear about that (maybe getting close;)
Everyone has picked a date that they think Beckham will be born. Tomorrow is Poppa Brett's Birthday so of course several people are pulling for that date. Robbie has picked the 27th. My date has come and gone and I am not allowed to pick another date:( per Robbie's rules.
She is doing good enjoying school she says that a bad day at school is better than a good day at work. Which is a posistive thing for us that she is loving school so much. That was the whole reason of putting Beckham up for adoption due to her wanting to get her education first. We have been blessed by God with providing for us and now he is using these two people to bless us with our son, Beckham.
Anyway we are just waiting for him to make his debut. We are so excited and can not wait to meet him.

Another shout out to God !!! Praise God!!

God just keeps coming through for us and our adoption of Beckham. Kelley Rainey called me today to tell me that she had two couples come up to her in church (Hebron) that wanted to donate to us. They themselves have adopted in the past and know first hand the struggles involved in it all. Between the two couples they donated to us 300.00 dollars.....can you even comprehend that....With today's economy being the way that it is and the simple fact of them not even knowing us. God laid it on their hearts to donate to our adoption. God is so awesome and those people will be richly blessed in the kingdom of heaven, but knowing that they have adopted they have been blessed already through that:)
Thanks Kelley for all that you have done for us. We love you to death and don't know what we would have done without you guys!!!!!

Jeremiah 29:11 &Psalm 37:4

I don't have anything specific to blog on this am, but just wanted to thanks Dawn for being a saint lately for me. She has been through a private adoption and know exactly how we are feeling right now. This is the right opposite of Rylie's adoption. It is crazy that they both are so different but the outcome to be the same.
I keep praying to God to keep me sane and allow things to fall into place as He wants them to. He has provided so much for us so far. He has really maintained the pathway to this baby and I praise Him for it. We thank Him for our blessing He is about to bestowe on us.
We have desired another baby for awhile and we could not afford to adopt again through agency and I prayed that if it was not His will to give us one naturally then we would be blessed through a private adoption which are less expensive than agency. Well God has answered our prayer in a BIG way. He just dropped this little guy in our laps.
I keep going back to these two verses to help me and then the second one thanks to Kelley Rainey gave it evan more of a greater meaning when you apply it to Beckham. When BM wanted an abortion God had bigger plans for this little guy.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Please continue to lift us up in prayer for our adoption. It is getting down close to the wire and Satan is on our tails big time. We love and trust in the lord and know that all will be fine with him on our side.

spoke with BM!!

spoke with Bm this afternoon. She went to MD yesterday and baby gained one pound in a week...he is a little over 6 lbs at present..she is doing well. She says it is hard to breath with him kicking her in the ribs and bladder but all in all doing well. She still maintains that they want to put the baby up for adoption. Every time I speak with BM the devil has a field day with me trying to get me to overanalize and read into every comment that is made. I hate that I do that. You can only imagine how I am right now...It is getting down to the wire, and we have no control over ANYTHING and I pray that God gives me peace that everything will be fine and work out for the best and His will be done for this baby.
Please pray for all of us...

Why is the world like this??

Ok so I have to vent...to the request of our attorney she wanted us to call the social worker at the hospital to give her a heads up that we were adopting and our baby was being born there and what are the specific protocals for that hospital. The lady I spoke to was very matter of fact and said that "we honor the birthmother wishes and that is it, we do not recognize the BF , attorneys or adoptive parents, they have no rights in the matter"...I told her our BM had a birthplan in place for her baby and delivery and do they stick to it closely and she said that they try to(try to???) why bother doing it right???
BM put in her plan that she wants us allowed to have as much time with Beckham as possible so we can bond she wishes for baby not to be in room with her so. At delivery they only issue two arm bands and BM has to decide who gets arm bands...anyway the concern for us is that she remembers in the heat of all of this to let them give us an arm band if we don't get an armband then we have no access to baby without BM (let me tell you that is bitter sweet we did that with Rylie because we didnt make it to her delivery and band had been issued already)
BM wants baby in nursery so if we have no band then we get to sit with our noses to the glass until discharge:(
So we ask you to pray specifically that the BM remembers to tell the staff to follow the birthplan specifically and issue band to us.
It is a crime in my opinion that the hospital systems treat the adoptive parents like baby theifs. We had it happen at Reno. We had NO access to Rylie without BM present and she just wanted to leave. So we would stand for hours with our noses to the glass looking at Rylie until that sunday when BM was discharged and the sweetest nurse in theworld "sally" rolled Rylie to the doorway and said "I could loose my job for this, but you need to hold your baby girl." She allowed us to hold Rylie in the doorway of the nursery for a few minutes. It was the sweetest moments Rylie was so tiny was entire leg was sticking out through the snaps in her sleeper:) That moment made us forget at the time the gaurd standing watch at the hallway...crazy huh!!
These BM make the toughest decision in their lives to do this and come to peace with it, and we are the ones that are not allowed any access at all with the babies. And the babies are not allowed bonding time so early on.

Amazing!!

We serve such an amazing God...He provided us with yet another weekend of sales with the yard sale. Even on saturday with the drizzle and hardly anyone came before 11 am...it was slow but they still came. With the left over's my sister is taking a selected amount of items to her house to sell in a couple of weeks for us, because her house is in a great location for yard sale. The other items are to be donated to an outreach program. Then what is left from Debbie's will be donated as well. I thank all of you who bought and donated items. It was such a blessing to us to meet so many people and talk to them about our adoption and how God blessed us with Rylie. They kept asking where did you get so much stuff and we PROUDLY said our friends, family and church family which prompted them to ask about our church. So CMC and CR got big shout outs at the yard sale for sure. I even had a shirt on the days of the sale that said "all God's children are adopted" that prompted some conversations as well. It was nice just hanging out with the family each weekend. Cricka and Rylie had a BLAST yesterday.

Also on a side note Ronnie my BIL done some carpet for someone yesterday a total stranger and he was sharing about our adoption and we were having a yard sale to raise money and do you know what these two people did....they donated a buggy cover for the sale or use for Beckham and then gave us a 20 dollar gift card to target and said tell them to go buy some diapers for their little guy:)
can you believe that...they don't know anything about us and gave from their heart. Despite the news and newspapers there are so many good people left in the world:)
Pray that tomorrow goes well for our BM and Beckham at the doctors:)

update!!

Sorry long time no post...we have been crazy at the Beddingfield's. The yard sale was AMAZING...God really blessed us so much through the yardsale. We had so much left over that we are doing it again this weekend the 10-11th...come by and visit us if you can.
Robbie bless his heart will be by himself on friday. I know that he is excited about that:) we want to start getting our house back to normal. We have yard sale stuff EVERYWHERE...and I mean EVERYWHERE.
THanks again for your donations and those of you who came by and shopped with us...God Bless each of you:)

Our BM called me on monday while I was at work. She said the counseling session went great and she signed all the important documents that she can and had no other questions at this time. She also said the she told me the baby was 5.4 a few weeks back but it was actually 4.5..so we will be having a running back instead of a line backer..but that is ok...he will just have size 8 shoe at birth though...so Beckham is weighing in at over 5 lbs now. He will be average I assume. She did tell me that Beckham has turned and dropped down into the canal since her last visit to MD. So it is now a waiting game. She said she has her bag packed and waiting and we are:) she still seems very commited to her plan for adoption and has complete her Birth plan for the hospital. She goes to the MD on monday!

All is good we are trying to get things ready here at home the best we can as soon as the yard sale is finish.
Keep us all in your prayers and that includes our Birthparents and baby Beckham!!!

God keeps on answering our prayers!!

So tonight as we have dug and semi sorted and drudge through all of this yard sale stuff, I get a call from our birthoother counselor. She says I just wanted to call and let you know that BM confirmed her appointment with me today (and she needed our address to mail the bill, but that is ok) and she said she would call me later to tell me how things went, but by her confirming the appointment things sounded good. She said that she had so many forms to go over with her that the attorney faxed to her that she didnt think she could do it all in one hour so we told her to talk all the time she needed in order for our BM to feel comfortable and get everythign done that she needed to do.
So tonight she called us and said that they completed their birthplan, and signed medical release forms, and read over all of the surrenders and said that they had no further questions. The counselor said that they still seemed very commited in their decision and that they would call us when they went to hospital (she wishes for noone except BF to be in delivery room) however she has to fill out "bonding papers" which allows us to bond with Beckham
Pray that we have a great turnout for the yardsale. We got two large donations today!!! God just keeps on providing...well gotta go to bed now!!! long weekend ahead:)
Thanks for all the prayers:)

God is good!!

The fundraiser that Kelly Rainey did for us with the help of Lori of course. Raised 204 dollars not counting the 151 in raffle tickets...can you believe that...man that is awesome!! God has just kept on delivering...then today a neighbor came by and donated a few items. Then another nieghbor came by and was just talking and she has been having a revolving yard sale over past few weekends, and she asked me if I knew the sex of the baby and she said she had TONS of baby boy clothes 1 dollar and under!!!
can you believe that so she took me immediatly to her garage and I tell you what she had some really nice items. I got 3 pairs of shoes for .50 cents each and all the bibs and hats were .25 cents, clothes and overals etc were only 1 dollar a peice. She even said I could pay her after our garage sale on saturday..man that was a blessing from above. We were just so excited about it.

Continue to pray our BM goes to md tomorrow for her check up and also tomorrow night she is going for her counseling with BF all by themselves with our conselor to formulate the birthplan. We pray that all goes well.
Pray over our yard sale and that people come and buy ALL of our donations, we dont want anything left over:)
